New Heights offers free workshops for women affected by domestic abuse

From November, New Heights community project is offering free workshops to women who are affected by domestic abuse.

Devised by experienced therapists, the workshops are open to women over 16 who live in North Birmingham or Sutton Coldfield.

Stepping Stones to Healthier Self-Esteem

Six Weeks: Tuesday 7 November 9.30-11.30pm (in Sutton Coldfield)

Exploring how abuse affects how we see ourselves and its impact on our self-esteem. The workshops are designed to develop confidence and self-esteem.

Mixed Emotions

12 weeks: Tuesday 7 November 12.30-2.30pm (in Kingstanding)

Exploring the emotional impact of abuse, helping to understand and manage emotions, developing inner resources and coping strategies, building on hope and looking to the future.
